Nye Earns Back-to-Back MAC Track Athlete of the Week
NEWTOWN, Pa. – Widener Women’s Track & Field graduate student Gabby Nye has been named the MAC Track Athlete of the Week for the second straight week after taking down another Widener record. Gabby Nye broke the Widener school record in the 5000-meter by nearly 15 seconds with a time of 16:21.59. Her performance ranks third in the nation and is the 23rd fastest time in Division III history. Nye and the Pride head back into competition on Friday, April 17 at the Paul Donahue Invitational at Widener University.
