No. 61 women’s tennis comes up short away to Belmont Abbey

BELMONT, N.C. – No. 61 Averett University women’s tennis had its winning streak come to a halt while at Division-II Belmont Abbey College on Tuesday afternoon, as the Cougars lost 4-3 at the Reidy Tennis Center. Belmont Abbey (18-6) took all three doubles matches for point number one. The Crusaders won singles slots one through three to secure the dual victory.
