Navy鈥檚 Ayinala Named League Tennis Player of the Week
BETHLEHEM, Pa. -- Aniketh Ayinala won a trio of matches last weekend for the Navy men's tennis team to earn him the Patriot League Player-of-the-Week accolade, the league office announced today. It marks the first time the senior has garnered the league's weekly award. Ayinala earned a pair of wins during Navy's 5-2 victory over Bucknell on Saturday. He and Steve Nguyen first combined for a 6-3 victory at No. 3 doubles, then Ayinala defeated Adam Stavrakas, 6-4, 2-6, 6-2, at No. 2 singles.
