Mona Shores takes shutout loss to Caledonia in Tuesday soccer match
LocalSportsJournal.com The Mona Shores girls soccer team opened OK-Green play with a tough 3-0 loss to Caledonia on Tuesday. Caledonia led 1-0 at halftime and added two more goals in the second half before the game was called for weather with 9 minutes left to play. Goalie Amelia Duff made 12 saves for the Sailors. Ella Charland, Stella Shaffer and Keaton VanMerris each offered up strong play for the Sailors. Mona Shores (1-4, 0-1) will face a tough opponent on Thursday when they travel to Byron Center, the No. 1 ranked team in Division 1.
