WHITNEY, Texas – Tyler Merchant and Harrison Cox shot a pair of 72s to lead the Hardin Simmons men’s golf team at the West Region Invitational, which was played at the White Bluff Resort in Whitney. Merchant had seven birdies on the day and finished in fourth place. Cole MacMillian of Mary Hardin-Baylor won the tournament with a eight-under-par 208.
