Margaritov, Orsi and Shaw Named Players of the Week
NEWTOWN, Pa. 鈥� The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) released their weekly Player of the Week honors with three Albright Lions appearing on the list. Nadia Margaritov (women’s tennis), Renato Orsi (men’s tennis) and Landyn Shaw (baseball) were all named Player of the Week. Margaritov wrapped up another perfect week, going 2-0 in singles play and 2-0 in doubles play. She has won her last six singles matches in a row, coming all in #1 singles play. This week Margaritov beat Alvernia 6-2, 6-1 and York 6-3, 7-5. The Player of the Week honor is the second this season for Margaritov.…
