Lauvstad Earns NSIC Field Athlete of the Week Honors
BURNSVILLE, Minn. --- Minnesota State's Miranda Lauvstad has been named the NSIC Field Athlete of the Week for her efforts last week. A senior from Nesoeya, Norway, Lauvstad set a school record in the heptathlon event with a score of 5,671 points, which is the third best in Division II. She also won the 400m hurdles (1:01.56) and the long jump (6.16m, 20-2.5) events at the Minnesota State Open.
