Jamora Alves Named BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week for Second Straight Week
NEW YORK 鈥� St. John's track and field standout Jamora Alves was named the BIG EAST Women's Field Athlete of the Week for the second consecutive week following her impressive performance over the weekend, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon. Alves becomes the first Johnnie to earn an athlete of the week honor in back-to-back weeks since Lead Anderson did so in January of 2020.
