Haukap Garners MIAA Field Athlete of the Week Honors
KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Pittsburg State University senior thrower Jack Haukap garnered MIAA Field Athlete of the Week honors today (Apr. 14). Haukap (Garden Plain, Kan.) also was selected as the NCAA Division II National Athlete of the Week Monday by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) for his record-breaking performance at the UCM Kip & Kirk Mule Relays last week.
