Flames prospect Cole Reschny staying in college for sophomore season
One of the Calgary Flames鈥� top prospects is heading back for a second year of collegiate hockey. Centre Cole Reschny will return to the University of North Dakota to play out his sophomore season, Sportsnet鈥檚 Pat Steinberg reported Monday. Reschy, drafted 18th overall by the Flames in 2025, enjoyed a solid freshman year for the Fighting Hawks, tallying six goals and 29 assists in 36 games. His side was eliminated by eventual runner-up Wisconsin in the first round of the Frozen Four.
