Djamilla Toukour Named NE10 Rookie of the Week
Southern Connecticut women's track & field standout Djamilla Toukour was named the Northeast 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for Week 3 of the outdoor season. At the Wilton Wright Invitational, placed second in the 400m with a personal-best time of 57.27. She also PR'd in the 200m with a time of 25.20, placing fifth. Her time in the 400m ranks second in the NE10 this season. This is Toukour's second time winning Rookie of the Week after taking home the award once during the indoor season.
