Bergstrom Smashes Career Homer #34 as Regents Dominate Spartans in Weather Shortened Day
ROCKFORD, Ill. — The Rockford University baseball team hosted the Aurora University Spartans on Tuesday. They earned a 7-2 win as game two of the doubleheader was postponed due to inclement weather. The Regents will return to action tomorrow, April 15, for one game against UW-Parkside at 1 p.m. CDT. Rockford 7, Aurora 2 Kadin Bergstrom was 1-for-4 with a two-run homer. That long ball moved him into first on Rockford’s career home run list. Marcus Taylor was a triple away from the cycle, going 3-for-5 with an RBI.
