Baseball takes midweek NEWMAC contest against Springfield
NEW LONDON, Conn. 鈥� Tuesday Afternoon, Coast Guard hosted Springfield College for a NEWMAC contest. The Bears enjoyed a nice win on a beautiful day as they won 3-1. Following this win, the Bears improve to 10-13 in the regular season and 4-6 in NEWMAC. The Pride fall to 17-9 and 5-3 in NEWMAC play. Freshman Yadisson Karbalaieasghar (Coral Springs, Fla.) got the Bears on the board first in the bottom of the second inning with a solo home run.
