Baseball Splits Season Series With 3-1 Setback at Coast Guard
New London, Conn. 鈥� April 14, 2026 鈥� The Springfield College baseball team dropped a 3-1 New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) decision at Coast Guard on Tuesday afternoon splitting the 2026 season series with the Bears. Springfield dropped to 17-9 on the year after today’s result. Six of Springfield’s eight hits on the day came from Chris Balchius (Norwalk, Conn.) , Adam Crocker (Windsor, Nova Scotia) and Luke Barone (Monroe, N.Y.) all notching two on the day.
