Baseball hosts Westminster for PAC doubleheader
WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 14) 鈥� The Waynesburg University baseball team battled one of the top teams in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC), as well as the weather, when Westminster came town for a doubleheader on Tuesday. The Titans swept the twin-bill by the final scores of 11-0 and 6-1. The late game was ended in the sixth inning due to a second weather delay. Game one started as a pitchers duel, as junior Alex Nicholson (Cortland, Ohio / Mathews) matched his mound opponent pitch for pitch over three scoreless innings of one-hit ball.
