Baseball Drops Marathon at Illinois Wesleyan
Despite scoring five runs in three different innings, the Benedictine University baseball team was unable to outlast Illinois Wesleyan on the road in a non-conference game. FINAL SCORE Illinois Wesleyan 22, Benedictine 18 STAT LEADERS – Spencer Geake finished with three hits – Anthony Mitchell and Nic Castrovillari both drove home four – Mitchell, Castrovillari, Justin Nonnenmann and Preston Popovich all posted two hits – 10 individuals tallied hits in the game as Benedictine finished with 16 – The game was nearly four hours long UP NEXT Benedictine (12-17) is slated to host MSOE this weekend.
