BRISTOL, R.I. – The Roger Williams University Baseball team defeated Curry 5-2 in a Conference of New England (CNE) matchup on Tuesday afternoon. On the mound for the Hawks, Gianni Mercurio (Newbury, Mass.) earned the win in relief, tossing 5.1 scoreless innings. Mercurio struck out six while allowing just two hits and one walk. Ryan Camp (Cheshire, Conn.) secured the save, pitching a scoreless ninth inning with two strikeouts.
