Barton baseball snaps skid with 20-3 home rout of Virginia State
WILSON, N.C. 鈥� The Barton baseball team (8-28) snapped an 11-game losing streak with a 20-3 rout of Virginia State (8-17) Tuesday afternoon at Nixon Field. Barton junior designated hitter Mason McDougall (Tampa, Fla.) hit a pair of two-run home runs while junior outfielder J.J. Faulkner (Wilmington, N.C.) added a three-run round-tripper as the Bulldogs run-ruled the Trojans.
