Allen and Stancavage Collected LEC Athlete of the Week Honors
PROVIDENCE, R.I. – For the first time this semester, Kendall Allen (Naugatuck, Conn.) and Lorelei Stancavage (Bristol, Conn.) collected Little East Conference (LEC) weekly awards for the Western Connecticut State University softball team on Monday. Allen earned player of the week, while Stancavage was named Rookie of the Week. Allen batted .400 (12-for-30) with 18 RBI, six runs scored, two doubles and two home runs over a 6-2 week for the Wolves.
