Aingeru Garcia named CCIW Men鈥檚 Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Aingeru Garcia of the Augustana Vikings men’s tennis team has been named the CCIW Men’s Tennis Student-Athlete of the Week, the league announced Tuesday. Garcia earned this honor after his undefeated performance in the CCIW matchups against Wheaton and North Central. The junior started the weekend with a 6-3 victory in the top spot of the doubles alongside teammate Jorge Marcelo before earning two 6-3 victories in singles play.
