Women鈥檚 Tennis Earns No. 1 Seed for American Conference Championship
WICHITA, Kan. 鈥� Riding a 17-match winning streak, the Wichita State women's tennis team has earned the No. 1 seed for the upcoming American Conference Championship. With the American Conference not playing a full dual-match schedule, seeding is determined by team ITA rankings. The Shockers are the highest-ranked team in the conference at No. 28. Wichita State went a perfect 6-0 in the regular season against American Athletic Conference opponents, defeating UTSA, Rice, South Florida, Tulsa, Tulane and North Texas.
