FOREST, Va. – For the second consecutive week, no. 61 Averett University women’s tennis swept the Doubles Team and Singles Player of the Week awards, per the conference offices on Monday afternoon. Like the previous week, the duo of senior Elisa Battermann and junior Dilara Sultanova collected the doubles duo of the week honors, while sophomore Sunna Maass won her first singles player of the week laurel. Battermann, hailing from Zeist, the Netherlands, and Sultanova, who hails from Izmir, Turkey, went 2-0 in matches last week.
