Wilkerson Named MWC Player of the Week
Monmouth College junior baseball player Jace Wilkerson (East Peoria, Illinois) was named Midwest Conference Player of the Week on Monday. A two-way player, Wilkerson had a break-out week for the Scots who went 2-2 in four conference games. Overall he hit .524 (11-for-21) and slugged 1.095 with three homers, a double, a triple, a walk, seven runs scored and 12 RBI. Wilkerson had at least two hits and two RBI in all four games.
