MEADVILLE, Pa. (April 12) – The Vulcans trimmed over 20 strokes off their opening-round score to finish second at the Fighting Scot Spring Invitational on Tuesday at the Country Club of Meadville. TEAM NOTES • The California (PA) women's golf team shot a 146-over 722 (373-349) over the two-day event. • Clarion shot the lowest score in each round and won the tournament title by 11 strokes with a 135-over 711 (363-348). • Allegheny (PA) completed the team scorers with a 230-over 806 (420-386), while host Edinboro completed as individuals.
