Swader named ASUN Player of the Week
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- Bellarmine's AJ Swader has been named the ASUN Conference Player of the Week, announced Monday by the league office. The Murfreesboro, Tennessee native turned in a dominant week at the plate for the Knights, going 9-for-14 (.615) overall, including an 8-for-13 performance in Bellarmine's conference series sweep of Eastern Kentucky. Swader tallied two doubles, two home runs and drove in 10 runs while posting a 1.231 slugging percentage. A graduate student, Swader has been a key contributor in the Knights' lineup this season, currently leading the team with 16 doubles and nine home runs while batting .379....
