Stubert 3rd at W&J鈥檚 Rossin Invitational
CANONSBURG, Pa. (April 13) — Thiel College freshman golfer Brandon Stubert (Greenville, Pa./Greenville) placed third of 48 golfers at Washington and Jefferson College’s Peter C. Rossin Memorial Invitational from Southpointe GC Monday. Stubert fired an 80 (+7) for his highest collegiate finish. He was two strokes behind Brody Pirt (Westminster) for second and six strokes back of 96th-ranked Brian Meyers (Mount Union) for first. Stubert recorded an eagle on the 505-yard par-5 sixth along with a birdie on the 496-yard par-five eighth. He added four pars on the front nine and three more on the back.
