Sterling Austin Named ODAC Baseball Pitcher Of The Week
ODAC WEEKLY REPORT HAMPDEN-SYDNEY, Va. — Hampden-Sydney College senior right-hander and team captain Sterling Austin (Petersburg) has been named the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the period April 6-12. Sterling made two appearances on the mound last week, tossing 11.0 scoreless innings and scattering seven hits with 11 strikeouts and only two walks allowed. This is the second time this season that he has been named the conference’s pitcher of the week, including the week of February 16-22 .
