St. John鈥檚 Earns No. 3 seed in BIG EAST Tournament
NEW YORK 鈥� The St. John's women's tennis team will open play in the BIG EAST Tournament, presented by Jeep, on Friday in the quarterfinal round as the No. 3 seed. The tournament will be held on April 16-19 at the Cayce Tennis and Fitness Center in Cayce, S.C. The Red Storm will face the winner of Thursday's first-round matchup between No. 6 Villanova and No. 11 Providence on Friday at 1 p.m. The semifinals and championship matches are scheduled for 1 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
