Softball Takes Two from Mount Saint Vincent
NEW YORK, N.Y.- The Hunter College softball team swept a high-scoring nonconference doubleheader against Mount Saint Vincent on Saturday afternoon at Randall’s Island. The Hawks earned a 17-8 victory in the opener before holding off a late push for a 13-10 win in game two, improving to 8-19 on the season. Game 1: Hunter 17, Mount Saint Vincent 8 Hunter’s offense erupted for 21 hits in the opener, scoring in six of seven innings to power the victory.
