Softball Lady Comets Roll Past North Mac
Win number 12 for the season was recorded Saturday at home by the Greenville High School varsity softball team. The Lady Comets shut out North Mac 19-0 in four innings. Ava Potthast handled the pitching duties for the winners, striking out 11 batters. Four Lady Comets had two hits apiece. They were Emma Bingham, Potthast, Haylee Clark and Kaitlyn Lurkins. Clark drove in four runs and Payton White and Potthast were credited with three RBI鈥檚 each. The Lady Comets entered this week with a 12-1 record.
