By: Billi Derleth, Sports Information Director LA MIRADA--- After another dominant week, the Biola softball team swept the PacWest Conference weekly honors following a four-game sweep over Jessup. Biola earned Team of the Week after taking all four games against Jessup, strengthening its hold atop the conference standings. The Eagles secured wins of 5-4, 8-0, 14-8 and 5-2, including a dramatic comeback in the series finale. After the game was suspended due to lightning with Jessup leading, Biola returned the next day and erupted for five runs in the final inning to complete the sweep. The Eagles were on a...
