Socarras named KCAC Baseball Player of the Week
WICHITA, Kan. 鈥� Friends University senior outfielder Bernie Socarras has earned his second KCAC Baseball Player of the Week award this season, announced today (Apr. 13) by the conference office. All KCAC Player of the Week awards are sponsored by Athletic Solutions. A native of Hobbs, N.M., Socarras batted .615 with a home run and 11 RBIs while posting a .684 on base percentage and slugging 1.077 to lead the Falcons to a perfect 4-0 record on the week and extend the team's winning streak to nine games.
