Saunchegraw Named CCS Rookie of the Week for Fourth Time
ATLANTA – Piedmont softball’s standout freshman shortstop Anslee Saunchegraw has been tabbed as the Collegiate Conference of the South Player of the Week, the league announced Monday afternoon. This marks Saunchegraw’s fourth CCS Rookie of the Week nod this season and she also has a CCS Player of the Week award to her name, as well as an NFCA National Player of the Week honor. The Covington, Georgia native continued her special season over the past week, going 9-of-13 at the dish, good for a .692 batting average.
