Rone named SAA Pitcher of the Week
ATLANTA – The Southern Athletic Association released its weekly awards for baseball earlier this afternoon and Centre sophomore Isaac Rone was named Pitcher of the Week after an excellent start on Apr. 11. Rone put together the best starting performance of his career in game 1 of Centre’s weekend series against Berry. Through 7.1 innings of work, Rone struck out a career high nine batters while allowing just one run in the 4-1 Centre victory, improving to 4-0 on the season.
