Report: 76ers’ Joel Embiid not expected to be available for play-in tournament
The Philadelphia 76ers will be without their former MVP to start the post-season. Joel Embiid is not expected to be available for the NBA Play-In Tournament, ESPN's Shams Charania reported on Monday. Embiid underwent a successful appendectomy on April 9. Philadelphia coach Nick Nurse said Embiid felt fine in practice on Wednesday before he learned of the situation Thursday morning.
