Pair from Greater Lansing named Division 4 girls basketball all-state
The Portland St. Patrick girls basketball team made one of its best state tournament runs in two decades. And junior Gracelyn Rockey was a major force for the Shamrocks as they finished as the Division 4 state runner-up. That success is why Rockey was a Michigan Sports Writers second team all-state selection in Division 4. Rockey surpassed 1,000 career points and 500 career rebounds this season. Rockey, a 5-foot-9 forward entered the final week of the state tournament averaging 15.7 points, 6.8 rebounds, 3.4 steals and 2.8 assists for the Shamrocks.
