NAPERVILLE 鈥� The College Conference of Illinois & Wisconsin (CCIW) announced its Baseball Student-Athletes of the Week on Monday afternoon, with Carthage freshman Michael Ossenfort earning Hitter of the Week honors following a standout stretch at the plate. A shortstop from Sioux Falls, S.D., Ossenfort powered the Firebirds’ offense, batting .600 (12-for-20) with 11 runs scored, nine RBI and a 1.400 slugging percentage over five games.
