Mississippi Native Macie Phifer Signs With Bulldogs
STARKVILLE 鈥� Mississippi State women’s basketball announced the addition of one of the most decorated Mississippi high school athletes in the form of rising sophomore Macie Phifer for the 2026-27 season. Phifer, a 6-1 guard from New Albany, Mississippi, began her college career this past season at Middle Tennessee State. She started all 33 games for the Blue Raiders and averaged 11.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 1.4 assists and 1.1 steals per game. She earned All-Conference USA Honorable Mention and Freshman team honors.
