Men鈥檚 golf wraps up first two rounds of Sam Snead Collegiate
WILLIAMSBURG, Va. 鈥� Averett University men’s golf currently sits tied for 18th following two rounds of play at the Sam Snead Collegiate hosted by Piedmont University on Monday. The Cougars currently are 43-over-par 284. Freshman Lukas Newton was Averett’s best golfer on the first day, nine-over par in 44th place. First-year Chase Myers is 55th, and 11-over. Freshman Nicholas Santoso shot 12-over and currently is in 65th, and sophomore Benjamin Afzelius is four places behind in 69th, with a 14-over-par score.
