Medica Earns First BIG EAST Player of the Week Recognition
CHICAGO 鈥� DePaul men's tennis sophomore Sebastian Medica has been named BIG EAST Men's Singles Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday afternoon. Medica earned his first weekly honor following a perfect weekend that helped DePaul secure an undefeated BIG EAST record. The San Luis Potosi, Mexico native went 2-0 at No. 2 singles against BIG EAST opponents, guiding the Blue Demons to wins over Marquette and Creighton to finish 6-0 in league play, DePaul's first perfect conference campaign since 2022.
