McAllister, Wildsmith, Women鈥檚 1V tabbed for NEWMAC weekly honors
MARLBOROUGH, Mass. 鈥� United States Coast Guard Academy cadet-athletes picked up three New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) Athlete of the Week recognitions for athletics performances through Sunday, April 12th, as announced by the conference on Monday the 13th. Women’s lacrosse senior Abby McAllister (Pleasantville, N.Y.) and women’s track & field senior Allie Wildsmith (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) both repeated as the respective Offensive Player of the Week and Field Athlete of the Week, while the women’s rowing program’s 1V crew was dubbed Boat of the Week.
