Haukap Named NCAA Division II National Athlete of the Week
NEW ORLEANS -- Pittsburg State University's Jack Haukap was selected as the NCAA Division II National Athlete of the Week for men's outdoor track & field Monday (Apr. 13) by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Haukap (Garden Plain, Kan.) put on a show at the UCM Kip & Kirk Mule Relays last Thursday (Apr. 8). The senior thrower spun his way into the NCAA DII history books with a 70.26m (230-6) heave.
