Golden Girls have strong showing at NDA National Collegiate Championships
OVERLAND PARK, Kan. 鈥� The Johnson County Community College Golden Girls Dance Team competed in the NDA National Collegiate Championship in Daytona Beach, Florida this past week, competing in two divisions- Junior College Jazz and Junior College Pom. This was the team's first time competing in the Pom division. This routine, choreographed by Dominic Franco, placed 2nd in Finals. Their Jazz routine, choreographed by Kristen Burton, missed finals by only .18 of a point, landing them in 4th coming out of Prelims.
