ALLENDALE, Mich. – It was a weekend of speed for Grand Valley State track and field, especially for sprints and hurdles squad. Following fast performances at this weekend's GVSU Al & Sue Owens Classic, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has named Dominic Downes the Men's Track Athlete of the Week and the women's 4x100m relay squad Women's Track Athletes of the Week. Downes had a phenomenal weekend on the track, running three personal-best times through two events.
