Damian Tamayo Vera Named MIAC Player of the Week
DULUTH, Minn. 鈥� St. Scholastica’s Damian Tamayo Vera (Miami, FL./Felix Varela Senior HS) has been named MIAC Baseball Player of the Week, the conference announced on Monday. Tamayo Vera put together a dominant stretch at the plate, launchign five home runs (8 total hits) and five walks over his 20 at bats this past week. All five of his home runs came in a single day, as he powered the Saints offense with multiple multi-hit performances against St. Olaf, and a make-up inning against Carleton.
