Cowgirls In Third At West Region Invitational
WHITNEY, Texas 鈥� Hardin-Simmons’ women’s golf team is in third place after the first round of the West Region Invitational, which is being played at the White Bluff Resort in Whitney. The Cowgirls shot a 336 in the first round and sat in third place behind Trinity (319) and Mary Hardin-Baylor (328). Southwestern is third at 343, Southwestern B is fifth at 368 and the University of Dallas shot 373. Ariana Chavez continued her hot spring with a 78 and is in fifth place overall.
