BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore Cole Morkovsky has been named American Southwest Conference Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 12 th . Morkovsky, a Pearland native, threw a complete nine-inning shutout against Howard Payne last week. He gave up just six hits with six strikeouts and one walk allowed. Morkovsky faced 31 total batters, forcing seven groundouts and 11 flyouts in his win. UMHB returns to action April 16 th – 18 th in a four-game series at East Texas Baptist University in Marshall.
