Cole Carson Named USA South Men鈥檚 Lacrosse Rookie of the Week
FAYETTEVILLE, N.C . – Piedmont men’s lacrosse freshman Cole Carson has been named the USA South Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week, announced Monday afternoon. The freshman from Pineville, North Carolina had a huge offensive and defensive game in a Piedmont rout at Brevard this past week. Carson delivered a career-high four goals, which led the team. He also picked up four ground balls, which tied for the team best, while also causing seven turnovers, easily a career high and the highest number from a Lion this season.
