Caroline Alger and Brooke Zuber Receive Weekly Softball Awards from Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. – Christopher Newport University received both weekly softball awards Monday from the Coast-To-Coast Athletic Conference (C2C). Junior Brooke Zuber was selected the Player of the Week, and sophomore Caroline Alger was named the Pitcher of the Week in the C2C. Zuber, a junior from Lancaster, Pa., was five-for-seven for a .714 batting average for the Captains in a doubleheader split on Sunday at Meredith College.
