BSE Picks Up Weekend Win Over Wayne City at Home
Brownstown-St. Elmo took an early three-run lead and then held off Wayne City in the later innings for a 5-3 win at home on Saturday. The Bombers opened up the game鈥檚 scoring with a pair of first inning runs and edged that lead out to 3-0 with a third inning run. Wayne City broke up the shutout with their first run of the game in the top of the fifth inning to cut the BSE lead down to 3-1.
